Yes it is, but the SDW has already made a home for itself in the Yokomo SD forum ...

I only say this because the SSG, BLACK, CGM, RAYSPEED, WORLD'S are all Yokomo SD cars discussed in that forum; I get what you're saying though

How is the build of the car anyway? THe quality should be excellent. The only thing that I can imagine changing spur gear should be quite time consuming.....

Not that difficult, take out the centre shaft, rear diff, undo the grub screw on the spur gear holder and pop the little pin out. the whole input shaft comes out then the spur. iv done it in a hurry in just over a minute!

you can do it in over a minute with the regular SD, the SDW you have to take apart the bulkheads. It will take alot longer than a minute with this car.

The reason that I was kind of stay away from this car because of the open gearbox system like Barracuda. Not very good where there are lots of pebbles or trashes. It will strip gear easily. Another thing, it is the gear box design like EVO 4 but a lot more difficult to take the car apart to change the spur gear.

And who buys a full-bred racecar and then drive it on a non prepared track? Well not me, i long for my SDW, even if it has open gearboxes

Hey Allspeed Hobbies, had gotten two in, and 1 was bought recently. If you are interested, better get on it quick, if you want to get one locally.
