last i heard they were going straight to 4000mah.
aparently they will get over 5000mahs into them and stupidly high voltages....
i heard they wilkl be out mid 2005.

Wow, sound like AMAZING cells!! But.... the 3600s were supposed to be FANTASTIC too, and from what I've heard, are a real let-down. GP3300 is still king.
Although, I did find it interesting that all the front-runners at the Japan National Championships or whatever it was, were ALL using Sanyo 3600s! I don't know if that was a forced rule or something, but I did find that interesting. Hopefully they have solved the overheating issue and high IR that has plagued them so far.

I think this is as the heats are 8 minutes in Japan even modified. So they will go for the highest capacity available.

woah thats arwsome 4000s that would make all them 3300s out there nice and cheap.. plent of capacity for stock (27/23T) racing.

WOW! 4000mah. how true is this? could somebody confirm.....i wouldnt want to stack up on batts that will become obsolete in a few months so i hope somebody in this forum will really confirm.

I was told at the time 3300 first came available that the technology was there for 4400mah. Sounds like the start of battery wars again

The new GP 3700 cells was first time seen by the public yesterday in HK. GP sponsored a local race here and given out several packs of 3700 as winners' prizes.

amazing! batt technology is really moving fast. pretty soon, Ep races will be run like nitro races.... and maybe pretty soon there will be a mixed nitro and ep race! now that will be fun!

lol i don't really understand they better come up with some better motor technology to go the round. i run my gp3300's w/ stock motor for 5 min heat slightly over geared. and it's damn hot i could imagine runnin for 8 minutes. destroyed motor!
someone explain what the point is. i guess you would get more punch.
more run time i supose but you really don't need it.
gp300 is plenty enough even for low turn mods. and enough gearing to kill your motor.
