Default Affordable Batteries? Please help!

Hello,

I have just found my 10 year-old Kyosho Lazer and Triumph 1/10 buggy cars from a storage. I was really into R/C cars (Electric), and just by looking at them makes me want to get back onto the scene.

I suppose that many things have changed past 10 years, and I really want to get back to it.

I would like to pick up some 7.2v (6 cells) batteries that cost around $20. Could you please suggest a place and a brand for my need? I am not going to race or anything. I just want to go out and have fun!

Thanks!

Default Ebay

Just shop for some used GP3300's on ebay. I'm sure you can get something around your price range.

go to your local hobby shop they have them for you. I believe Venom has some 2000mah Nimh for that price range.
Hope this helps

Stormer Hobbies has a deal on 4 Racer's Edge 3000 NiMH packs for $100.00. Bought some for bashing a while back and are not bad packs.

Yikes they are cheap, paying 30 a pack in the UK for 410 second packs, assuming they are at least that, thats a saving of 18 per pack!!!

And with the bars as well...

consider upgrading your battery connectors too...

some guy at the track last week fused his tamiya connectors when he got a new 3300 pack and used it...

the powerpole connectors are not bad. direct solder seems to be the best if you have a soldering iron handy often.

That guy (who listed them on Ebay) is a liar. GP does not sell factory matched cells. They are 6 loose cells
