Blue Strapping Tape - Where is it cheapest?
 

I have been looking around for the blue Xenon strapping tape, but paying $13 bucks for a roll seems a little excessive. Has anyone sourced it from somewhere for cheaper?

Rainbow 10 has pink and purple but no blue. RCModel is #14.50 and you know the rest...

There is some really good red strapping tape at the 99 cent stores, everyone at SoCal is using it cause there's a 99 cent store next door!

i use 3m fiberglass re-enforced strapping tape. It is sold at Home Depot in the paint section. this stuff is hands down the best tape ever. I'll rip the battery tray out of my car before my batteries come loose. lol and it it like 4 bucks a roll.

The tape your looking for is 3-M 898 this is the best place to get it.

Does the 3-M 898 tape come in blue or just standard neutral strapping tape color?

The 3m stuff just comes neutral. Team1 sells some good black tape for like $6.00 I use the 3m stuff it works great.

My only issue with the Team 1 tape is that it is so narrow, although, it is what I use currently.

That's one of the good points about the 898, you can get it in different widths to suit your needs.

my 2 cents on the matter if you guys have a slot car track around ask them for some body tape its about a quarter of the weight of any other reinforced tape out the but just as strong.
