The price of foams are ridiculious. I just bought two sets for my 1/12 and two sets fot my TC. On my 1/12 one wheel of the front set and one wheel on the rear set wobbled. not the the rubber, but the wheel it self was out of wack. I trued down the rubber to get it true, but the wheel still wobbled. The ones for my TC were 28mm actually measured about 29mm, whick causes problems with rubbing on my front knuckles and so on. Tight tolerences on my Yok. Anyways what I'm trying to say is tire manufacturers need to bring the cost of tires down. $20+ a set at my local hobby shop is ludicris and 1/12 tires and Tc shouldn't be the same price. I can get my 1/8 buggy tires for about the same price as a set of foams.

Sounds like a problem with your local hobby shop and not the manufacturers.

Got some Parma foams in the mail today.

Inner diameters:

Parma: 47.5mm
Yellow dish TRC: 47.5mm
New wheel Jaco: 48.0mm

Material width:

Parma: 1.5mm
TRC: 1.6mm
Jaco: 1.5mm

Wheel width
Parma: 28.3mm
Jaco: 28.8mm

The Parma wheels feel slightly stiffer than the TRC's. The Jaco's are much stiffer than both.

In no certain order thank you. Last time I checked most of these places were sold out. Stomerhobbies I believe has most of them in stock. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Parma tires work fine, and are priced right. Their performance is just as good as Jaco. It was nice of Jack to come by and tell us how great Jacos are as well :/

i have been using parma tires for a long time and i buy mine off the shelf at my local hobby shop. i must say that i really like the parma tires very much and since they have come out with the new rim the tires are even better. all the fast drivers in my area including me use cyan and magenta on all grips of carpet low, med, or high they have been proven to be faster in all situations.

Parma tires TQ'd stock at the Novak race. Jaco won. Both are fast. 'Nuff said

Where can I find an actual shore rating for the Jaco tires? Specifically, the purples, double pinks, double pink/oranges and the purple orange... Is the DP/DPO combo about the same as the cyan/magentas from Parma/PSE? purple's and purple/oranges comparable to purples and plaids?

Thanks,

Tony

Any time. Although if you look at the race results you will see that the tires speak for themselves. By the way, JACO's are priced less than Parmas.

Fabulous. And this relates to coming on a thread about Parma tires and talking up yours how? It just seems to be in poor taste to me.

Since many of the people posting feel the need to compare Parma with JACO, I am certainly justified in coming to the defense of my product. Poor taste? If it was your company, perhaps you would feel different.
