Default Integy Full Hop-Up 1/10 TC Shaft driven...your opinion as a street car

Has anyone driven or seen one of these in action. I know for off-road purposes integy parts Ive used have been 50/50 in terms of durability and quality.

http://www.integy.com/st_prod.html?p...3#.TvsBa9QS32Y

It seems to be not a bad deal as it looks to be similar to a fully upgraded tb03. if all those parts were manually bought and put into a tb03 i dont even want to speculate the total cost. That is why it seems like a good deal. That being said, since i am especially new to touring cars i want to know your opinions.

I have a ta05v2 and I bash in open parking lots. i have replaced 3 belts and two rear pulleys already from debris and rocks being wedged in there cause my belt to flip around and crease between the center pulley and strip the pulley itself. This made me consider getting a tb03 and and selling my ta05, but thats a different thread all togeather....

looking forward to hearing what everyone has to say

The Integy car is just all of Integys parts for Tamiyas TT01 put together as a kit. Non adjustable suspension and lots of cheap alloy parts that do nothing for performance. A kit stock TB03 will perform better, be tougher and more adjustable.

If you just want to bash outside.. yea get a TB03, or heck, even a bone stock TT01E chassis with some minor upgrades would suffice, not to mention cheaper and more suitable for parking lot bashing, an open gear box on that integy car means rocks/pebbles getting stuck in gears, defeating the purpose of getting a shaft car.

Sakura S is a fine choice too, cheap and fast, but since you're worried about rocks and stripping pulleys/belts, I'd say stick with shaft driven cars with enclosed gearbox.

That or if you can find a used TC3 or TC4.

Or even better, the Kyosho TF5s.
http://www.kyosho.com/eng/products/r...duct_id=104161

Available for $115

Parts can be ordered from SpeedtechRC any place that carries the ZX-5 buggy because the two platforms share the same drivetrain and some suspension components.

Awesome responses gentleman thanks. Not sure i want to sell my ta05 but a second car cant hurt. Ill take a look at said options and that sakura is a smokin deal. I figured the integy car was exactly as you said so thats not for me. Again great input from all.
