Understand something fellows as you have read very early on this thread, a 1/12 racer can't run both stock and mod per ROAR rules so in foam tire they are limited to one class. The WGT class was created as a class that they could run as a companion and have a 90% part share with their 1/12 scale car. Adding a heat, if that is all that it is would add a total of 40 minutes to the entire weekend if run as an alternative class (no triple "A") and to race I don't think anyone would object.
I honestly am glad that the VTA class is being run and I would not have excluded any of the classes that are listed. I just feel that the WGT class should have at least been offered. AT the time of this post no one has said that it was not considered because of a class limit imposed by anyone. Or that it would stretch the program too long.

I guess we at The Gate and our bigger races as well as the Indoor Champs are an exception. But as has been stated it is a official ROAR on road class that is not being given a chance. It does have the potential even if it is one heat to expose it and add dollars to their bottom line. I still believe that the proper strategy would be to offer it and if the car count is lower than need to marshal the next heat, cancel it and refund. No loss to the track or ROAR.
Please take note that I am not attacking anyone but just pointing out what I believe is an oversight.

Just because it is a "ROAR legal" class doesnt mean it has to be run. 13.5 sedan and 13.5 12th were not ran at the 2012 carpet nats, despite the wishes of many.

Given 13.5 tc is offered, anyone on here have a ball park FDR to start with? Thanks

Helps alot guys, thank you very much. So basically, same gearing for both 17.5 and 13.5 in tc if not boosted.
