Has it been determined if the D3.5 17.5 and 13.5 will be legal for Nats?

Unless they have had a revelation and taken it off the approved list it should be legal. It was there last night when I checked. Its been available in plenty of time so no one can complain about that this year either.

On the ROAR site, it said this...

Speed Passion EXT98802PRO PRO 2.1 ESC (Carbon,Silver,Clue)

That is the GT2.1 ProStock....Roar don't always put down the exact right name or number on their approve list, this is not the 1st one or the last one. But your ESC is on the approved list.

Sounds like to me that you better have a backup plan in case people change their minds. I guess we will see what happens!

If its on the list now, why would it be illegal in 2 weeks?

Ah yes a very good question...I will tell you that there is a lot of mumbling going on about this motor and whether or not it is legal. I think other companies are concerned or curious about if the motor meets the requirements for legality.

<In my best Forrest Gump Voice> That's all I got to say about that!

Dude if they unapproved this motor with 2 weeks to go, there will be lawyers involved.

Anyone that has been to this track over say the past 2 months know others have been fast with the Reedy, Revtech and Team Powers motors... One racer (Not using names) has been fast every week with a year plus old RevTech...

And Everyone knows that track layout is going to change to be more "Electric / Manufacture Friendly" track.
