Results were posted from the previous weekend. See Wisconsin and Illinois and Leisure Hours. You can also find some videos in there as well.

Has anyone figured out for sure if there are any combinations of classes that aren't allowed?

What I'm personally curious about is combining 17.5 1/12th scale with 'another class'. Can one person enter both 17.5 1/12th and 13.5 TC, for example?

Perhaps if there is clarification on this topic it would be a good thing to put into the first post right where the classes are listed?

The issue is if you were to want to run 17.5 and MOD, you can pick either slow and middle class or middle and mod, but not slow and mod. (Unless they grant an exception like they did at the carpet nats).

What I am really understanding is you need to work somewhere a little more flexible.

Ehhh its just about where you work. I am pretty lucky in that aspect. I can switch around weekends and just take time off if I give advance notice my manager is actually really cool about that.

Ive got the Nats off and I have Cleveland off (if i decide to go).

best of luck in Amsterdam. those are some hard tracks (from racing on vrc). worst case if your cars suck, hit a coffee shop, or the red light district. they will fix you up!

thanks Mike and yes both sound good. haven't decided on how long I'm going to stay after racing. my 12th mod is controllable, haven't even put mod in my TC in 5 or 7 years and what was on foam. Thinking of going 10.5 boosted instead of the 5.0 I have in my 12th. I just want to finish in TC I'm going to keep the marshals busy. it will well be worth the show.

Y'know, I just spent this whole past weekend racing 1/12th Mod up in Victoria B.C. at their summer Speed Weekend race. It was a deep field for Mod 1/12th, all the way down to a full C. The cars drove beautifully on the track. It was syrup-prepped Park-n-Ride lot. By no means as big as Leisure Hours. About half the straightaway distance, actually. But, the cars were hooked up, and it was an absolute blast.

I would expect the Nationals track to be well prepared. It has me rethinking my 1/12th scale entry. Why pass up the opportunity to race a fast car on a huge, open, flowing track? I can also say it was really nice to set aside the power anxiety and just drive the car. With a 5.0, the only full-wood part was the straight and then it was all throttle control and finesse through the infield. Exhilarating and challenging.
