It is a good choice Al...since most local guys are running them anyway. They are a good tire for he track and the track is very smooth. Wear should not be an issue. I can't wait to see those modified guys layin down the horsepower on our straightaway!

I know doors open at 7:30 am. I would assume racing starts at 8:30 to 9:30am. figure 6 minutes per normal main. Factor in about 2 to 4 minutes in between mains. I would expect around 20-25 heats plus 17.5, 13.5, mod, 12th, 12th mod, and VTA triple A-mains. I would plan on it being a long day

Well I know TC and 12th scale will have triple A-Mains...Dunno for sure on VTA

To add to this, you can expect the weekend after the Byron Race on this track, will be a really good time for a "non" official warm up race.... The weekend of June 30th and July 1st..... The Byrons race is June 23rd and 24th.....

Thanks!

But looking now it seems its just rumored that its the hard compound? Only Solaris is confirmed, not compound yet? I would like it confirmed before I buy a bunch of tires for testing.

And does anyone know how tire tech will work yet? Purchase tires at the event or bring unopened tires? sorry for 1000 questions, I've never run a spec tire event.

I believe compound being "open" was referring to traction compound. I may be wrong but I know the hard is all the host track has been buying.

I hope 1380 cause thats what my cars are set at as of right now.
I was also told that the 5mm ride height is for carpet only.

I would like a confirmation as well.
