That is correct. 46mm in the front will be to long. It depends on the shims You have to widen the car, plus what diff or spool You use.

Strange.I use in front the 46mm axle with spool and standard shims 1mm (as in manual) without any problem.

Yip that should be the other way around 46mm in the front and 44.5mm in the rear just like the manual states.

You may need to go with a 44.5mm in the front if you narrow the front track width though.

The guy asked about my setup, and I confirmed that I use 44,5mm in the front and 46mm in the rear, with the geardiff in front.

SBH, you used 2.5mm height for the sawy bars, What does that mean perfomance wise compared to 3.5 or less?

Hi Nick
Long time no see
Actually I have no idea, this is just how they are built, I didnt test different length, but in my head I dont think it matters, just changes how close the bar will be to the drive shaft and shock tower.

Anyone else tested that?

You brought nice and bad memories from that track

I only ask because manual mentions to make it 3.5 and I have seen other setups with 2.5. Americans prefer no sway bars though!!
I did some tests on that and it appears when track is dirty car is more stable with them, where when there is traction becomes twitchy same times and is safer without

You remember the rain I can hear

Everytime I have tested with and without swaybars, I am faster with.
I didnt read the manual for the new car, but I am pretty sure that 2,5mm have been on the older cars, and my swaybars comes from there.
I still dont know if it makes any difference though

For the EX it's 3.5mm page 18 of manual.

I guess it might change how sway bar moves

Oh I wish I had the time to be on track and test but unfortuntelly it's limited

For me without is safer, not faster for example when hitting the curb wrongly with sway bars car becomes undriveble, without no problem. Maybe it's the track.

This Sunday I'll go to another track and check there some things I have in mind
