Default To brass or not to brass.......

The aluminum ball ends need to go - they break too easily.

I was hunting for titanium blue...did not find, so I am just going to get regular colored titanium ball ends.

But I see some brass ball ends popping up once in a while at a fraction of the cost. I thought that brass was a soft metal also.

For the blue damper set, does it come with the blue aluminium spring retainers??? I only ask because you can buy them seperately and the std TRF shocks come with the silver aluminium spring retainers as found in top left corner of exploded picture above.

I just bought the blue set from Steve as Speedtech and it does have the blue retainers. I just wish it had the machined ends. That is the only thing that makes them hard to work on, nothing to grab a hold off. Otherwise they are awesome!

The outside edge of the retains have holes all aroung it. Just insert an allen wrench or something in the holes to pull it off.
