Nova, the winner hasn't been selected yet.

Alright, the entries are now closed. We had 65 total entries, raising over 300 dollars towards R/C Tech's server and administrative costs. BIG THANKS go to everybody who participated!

protc3, if you're out there, it's time to pick a number between 1 and 65 (inclusive) and post it here. I'll cross check it with the randomized list I just created, and post the winner here.

Still waiting for Jason to check in to dish out the winning number. Hang in there!

If it doesn't happen tonight, it may have to wait until the morning.

Actually, we were playing poker last night until all hours of the night, and this morning I was wrapping gifts. Nothing like the last minute!

Anyway, once I had the number, I did the "official" run of my scrambling script, and I'm happy to congratulate Impulse_racer, who has won the BMI XRAY 350 kit.

Thanks to Jason at BMI, and everybody who participated. Your donations are very much appreciated, and will help to keep the site running and growing.

Merry Christmas everybody!

Here's how the drawing will be done:

I will take all of the names (multiple times for those who had multiple entries) and assemble them into a spreadsheet.

I'll ask Jason to pick a number between 1 and however many entries there are.

I'll randomize the order of everything in the spreadsheet, and whichever entry matches the number Jason chose will be the winner, and posted here.

It will happen some time this evening (Pacific time).

Thanks everybody!
Deves,

Speedie is correct, no one had to post on this thread to be entered. All you had to do was paypal your entry in to futureal to be entered. And the way the raffle was done is explained in my quote from Futureal.

Thank you to Jason and BMI. But the real thanks goes to this place where people like me can get advice on how to get better at this hobby. I sent in the money to help with the sight and as a way to say thank you, not with the notion or hope of winning anything. I am usually not lucky this way. I missed a $22 million lottery by one digit.
To answer a couple of comments I have only been in the hobby for about three years, the first year gas only with a Serpent Impulse(my first r/c car). I have only been runnig Electric Sedan for 2 seasons and don't feel I have the experience compared to the others who post here to contribute, YET. Also I have developed a love for batteries and motors over gas and engines. I am Xray_racer on Teamxray.com and Rccars.com. Lastly I want to thank all of you who HAVE contributed. You have helped me go from a last place wall banger to on a good day an A main winner and third or better on off days. I am a much bigger fish in my small pond than I used to be thanks to you guys. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
