Default Novak Smart Tray or Integy Indi zero thirty board?

Currently I use the Rayspeed equalizer/conditioner and would like to to try another one but I'm confused whether to get the Novak or the Integy since these two are quite good.

The Novak is automatic and the integy you have to keep a close eye on it. The Novak is great (set it and forget it). I have both and use the Novak and I keep the Integy in a box.
Just my two pennies,

I have the Octane also and I just gave it away to my buddy (you know re-gifted for CHRISTmas). It works the same as your rayspeed and needs too much attention for my taste. I say Novak smart tray for sure. I just wish the Integy had gotten to it first. I love it's ease of use.

Mr. Shookie: Yeah yeah....... I think you've convinced me already and besides I hate the the screw type lock of the Rayspeeds/Integy's which get worn out in time. Thanks man!

Get both. I use the Novak tray to bring the cells down to 0.9v per cell after each race. Then at the end of the day I use the Integy 30amp tray to bring the cells down to 0v quickly so I can dead short them.

Your Welcome.

And about dead shorting. You better know what you are doing or you will end up with bad cells.

I use both systems (I actually now use Integy's new 30 amp unit over the 20 amp one...it's really slick).
Before I charge each pack, I place them on the Integy 30 amp unit for about 10 minutes to bring them as close to zero as possible.
After I run each pack I place it on the Novak tray to equalize them and leave them that way until their next chage.

You have to remember that their are 2 different kinds of trays: there are dischage trays and equalizing trays. It all depends on what you are looking to do with your packs. Personally, I would hate to use the Novak unit as a dischage tray. It dischages at 2.7 amps. It would take a normal 3300 pack about 1 hour or longer to dischage at this amperage.

I use my Gm commander discharges at 20amps and so does my Eagle CDC so I discharge them there then to the Novak for the final step.

Default Indy Booster 2

I have a Booster 2. Does anyone know what the cutoff is? I have either heard or read somewhere that it is 0.0v.
