Default Anyone run the GM SX12?

I just got one and put it in my Yok and all I can say is WOW. I haven't changed anything and it has more punch and quicker right on throttle.
Is there any reason why no one is running this ESC.
I have been running the QC2 for seven months and it is a great ESC but I thought I would try something new.
Any other inputs would be welcome.
Thnaks,
Stephen <><

I'm running one and don't have anything bad to say about it except...

It is IMPOSSIBLE to program the little thing!!!! Good thing the stock settings appear to work well for stock.

Masami just won the 1/12th Worlds with one. They are a proven world class speedie.

I have the model below, the SX9, and its almost the same with an 8turn motor limit.

I am seriously considering another SX9 for my new 1/12th, but i may go for the SX12 because of its motor limit (or lack thereof)

Yeah i have to say that the programming of it is a pet hate, and im not planning on buying a GM Commander anytime soon.

Wonder if it is possible to connect it to the serial port of a PC?

You see I already own the Commander and it is great.
I think I will get the advantage. I will tellyou that it is the smallerst ESC I have ever seen. I even added the capasitor and it is smaller thatn the QC2 with the small capasitor.
I will have to check it out at SoCals on thursday for some lap time comparisions,
Thanks,
Stephen <><

I had an SX9 and didn't like it much for stock. It didn't feel very punchy to me at all and I didn't have a Commander to reprogram it. At the time I went back to my V12WXC and I went faster.

It seems all the Numbers are better than the SX9 and the V12's So I think it was a good choice to grab this ESC at Half price off everyones favorite Auction site.
Any programs for stock racing anyone wants to share?
Thanks,
Stephen <><

Thumbs up sx12

yup, it's an awesome little unit. you must be careful when soldering the leads up as they are very close together and there are no separations between the tabs (it's all one continuous strip of fiberglass).

but it does run well.

have any of you with this unit done anything to fasten the internals to the case better? i am considering a dap of shoo goo on the inside.

Don't have a big problem with rain out here in So. Cal. High desert area. Although it is dry and dusty, which it also helps to have a waterproof esc to keep all that dust out. I hope that this esc can last.
Thanks,
Stephen <><

I'm running one in my 12th scale...and really like it... the size is awesome too...

Although I have a GM Commander (V2004), I still found not so easy to program my SX12.

Could anyone show me the procedures to change the program?

Thanks a lot.

I used SX9 before but I found SX12 is better. More punchy and the throttle curve improves a little bit.
