LAVco Battery matchers
I was working on my batteries and just noticed the tags have LAVCo on them. I have an old LAVco, which brins me to think is there a place I can send it to get the Prom updated for 3300s
Any thoughts? |
That's a good question. I know that Orion used to use the Lavco units, but now they use Competition Electronics Turbo Matchers. I wonder if their switching has something to do with them being out of business or the units themselves are not updatable??

Lavco has been completely out of business for about 10 years. There is no official service and I know of nobody who services them.

I'm just curious about it because I have some Orion 3300s and if you check the website they state they use LAVco matchers. That got me thinking if there was a newer version out there. For that matter how many versions are there. The one I have is a two unit system.

Does Reedy not still use the Lavco machines?

Reedy is using TurboMatchers for their Real Time cells.
