Sure is convenient when you get to pay more at the race.

Not sure what the deal is with the ROAR site? Previously it was mentioned that the close for online registration was on 3-11-2012. I don't think it would be fair to charge more at the race due to this issue at the moment.

Anyone know what is up with the ROAR site?

Can I use this as a driver head? In 1/12th scale?

Guys, what browser are you using where you are getting the popup and it prevents you from actually registering?

I am using IE and I get the pop-up initially... but when I click the stop-loading button, it no longer comes up. I had no issues registering with IE.

FYI for all the VTA racers, Mike Darnell just confirmed that Mike's Hobby Shop will have 35 sets of VTA Tires in the store by Wednesday, March 14.

No, I am sorry, his hair is not a ROAR approved length and the lights in his eyes must blink to be legal in 12th. Hair length must be 17.5 cm or longer.

That's hilarious! I found myself trying to buy some ken and barbies on Fleabay to cut them up and put them in a car... I'd first have to explain to my wife my new obsession with dolls, followed up with the questions about cutting them in half... I found the whole scenario so disturbing I was creeping myself out...

Although, you gotta admit, how cool to see that hair flipping around as you go down the straight, or hang out the window during a sweeper. Priceless entertainment.

I'm still gonna get me a few Barbies to hack up... just have to muster up the backbone to bid on them again.... Maybe I'll start a new ebay account so nobody knows me....

Weeks later, seen in an RCtech thread. "so, I see Stormer won a bulk lot of naked Barbie dolls..."

and then explained, "Yea, I swung a good deal on them. They were mostly naked and a few missing limbs. Two of them were torso's only... worked out great!".
There is no way to make that sound good, ever.

Just use Barbie's legs, creating a "V" in the back seat. Call it (RSS) Roof Support System.

I would just bring an older used set and a new package. Im not a Roar official but I would cover ass so that your not wishing you would of.

BTW, boards are drying from being repainted and the track is almost ready for Nats.
