Default Reedy batteries VS. everything else

Hey guys I was thinking about getting these:

https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com/c....pl?pn=ASC0622

Anyone know the specs on them? How would they compare to other brands? They are a bit pricey but I figure Reedy sells a lot of batteries so there top of the line would be one of the best out of all the companies.

I would wait for the Trinity New Panasonics Cells. This is because you will be paying about the same prices.

Would the new Trinity cells be the UMH? I heard that these Reedy's were made to compete aginst the UMH's. Correct me if I am wrong please since I do not know too much indepth info.

Those reedys are sanyo HV's, which are excellent cells.

All the HV's come from the same factory, it's just the matching methods that differ.

So do you think with Reedy's reputation with motors that they would be one of the top matchers?

If your looking to spend that much on cells, then Reedy isn't a bad choice.

What then would you perceive as an excellent choice? Or is it all personal preference since they all go through the same company in the beginning?

I didn't mean Reedy isn't a bad choice as in "if you can't get anything else"!

I meant that they are an excellent choice if you looking to spend that much.

But, it usually comes down to personal preference. Some people will only buy from Reedy or Trinity or SMC or whoever. Me personally, I buy from whoever, it really doesn't matter to me. I haven't bought a pack I wasn't happy with yet, so.

Right now, I'm getting great performance out of my HV's I purchase from Integy.

Yeah, cause all those other companies that get their cells from the same place as Reedy, wont get you through the main!

LOLS

I had a 2000 ni-cad pack that didn't make it through a qualifier once. Might have been under charged though.

FYI: EVERYONE gets their cells from Trinity. They are the sole importer to the US. As someone said earlier, it's all in the way they are matched (and cycled) that makes them individual.

I just look at the numbers on the pack, I really don't care if it's Trinity, Reedy, SMC, Orion, GM, etc... If there's a SMC hv pack with say 1.145v and 365seconds, and an Orion pack with the same numbers, I just get the cheaper one, I really don't care who did the matching as long as the #'s are decent.
