Default XXX-S Questions...

Gentlemen, today I picked up a Losi XXX-S...It was a great deal and came with a ton of new in package parts...

Anyway I have a couple of question regarding this particualr car...

Can someone give me just a starting point for gearing, running a 13.5 unboosted motor...The spur gear pitch in this car is 48 pitch so I have 86 and 88 tooth spurs...

Is there a stock setup someone would share...

Thanks for your time,

Racer53

With my 13.5 non-boosted touring car, a 4.5-5.0:1 final drive ratio keeps things moving pretty well. Put a fan on it to keep the punch later in the run, even though it doesn't really need it.
