It seems the main page does not work with Mozilla Firefox.
Mr.Shookie I believe you could've gotten even better prices, next time you might want to PM me. But i think your total price seems very very nice already.

Thanks for the links.

I ran a pack of unmatched (not pushed either) packs last weekend, but it lacked serious power and due to that I pushed so hard that this pack dumped!
All the gp-packs I ran that day had several hundreds of mah in them left on the discharger.

Maybe just a dud.
Or maybe it was becaus this was the packs first charge.
But my first impression is a negative one.

I'll soon be using it again and also my second Intellect pack and see waht's up with these cells first hand.

Anyone else had similar experiences with these cells?

We tested 100 random cells from IB a month or so ago. They don't look that bad but I really don't see where they will fit in the market. The average voltage we saw on our machines was lower than the GP3300's were currently matching.

The range of the cells @ 35 amps was 340-385 with the majority of the cells being in the 370-379 range. The voltage was 1.13 - 1.16 with the majority of the cells being in the 1.15 range. Actual IR ranged from 2.1-2.5.

Interesting Danny ... so will you be thinking about using these possibly in the future??

@ Danny/SMC:
Was it the 3600mah or the 3300mah version you tested?

I won't even run a new pack till it's been cycled 5 times. I have found that if you don't cycle they sometimes feel like bad cells, but it seems that the cells have to get use to the strain R/C puts on them. I have found most batteries don't live up to there potential until a few cycles or runs have been done. Just what I have learned.
Hope this helps,
Stephen <><

3600 I am sure.

Anthony-Could you confirm w/ RCStation that those cells were not factory zapped?

I am asking because those INtellect 3300 you cycled are by far the strongest non-zapped cells I have ever seen. Thye are potential high 1.18v 440 and 2.0 IR packs when zapped. Thats unheard of till now.

JDM_DOHC_SiR/Dave-
I think you missed what Danny Said.
He said that he is seeing better stuff with the GP's.
Believe me if there is ONE matcher out there that would love to share the goodstuff with the racer it's Danny at SMC.
He's one of the reasons GP has gotten better with their cells is due to the communication Danny has with GP.

But they are showing less voltage and runtime than he is seeing out of compariable GP's.

I don't believe they are zapped as the runtime are so much. If zapped, the runtime will only reduce, right ?? Actually, I pick up some loose cells from the shop and some SP2 at the same time such that I can compare.

I was told also the Intellect cells have to be trained for 3 or more cycles before they really show their power. Cells will be a bit hotter when charging than GPs but they like hotter environment.

I dont think capacity is hurt by zapping-increased I do beleive-but only by a few seconds over 30 amp discharge. Where most of the change is in zapping is voltage and IR.

Again-thanks for all this great info and pics.
