Default Throttle/Brake settings

Do you have your radio trigger settings on 70/30 or 50/50?

Why? What are the pros and cons?

Do you change the setting for different classes (F1, VTA, TC, 1/12th)?

It has always been my understanding that if you have a wheel/trigger radio you should be 70/30. If you use a stick radio you would most likely use 50/50. The reason being is that is equal to the physical throw of the radio.

By accident, I once bought a wheel/trigger radio but by default the radio was set 50/50 instead of 70/30. I was supposed to change it but I missed it for several weeks.

The result was very challenging to get the correct feel on low grip asphalt

For electric,it really makes very little difference. I have tried both. You should calibrate your ESC with the radio's end points and neutral points and it all becomes agnostic to the electronics.
I don't run nitro but I understand it's more applicable for nitro.

On high level sticks radio, you can fine tune the spring tension, so for me it is better to go for 70/30, as you can have more travel for forward and less for brake...
