Default Most important things to have

having seen the pit area and home work area threads, and the pits at the local track...I have a question.....
what are the essentials to have besides the car, radio, charger, and running gear? What are the most used and most important accessories to have in a pit?

the beverage of your choice on ice, either in the building or in the car depending on the track

and the most important thing to have is control of your temper, stuff happens, your gonna break when you dont want to, somone is gonna hack when your winning or even just doing good. i hate seeing people getting all pissed off over practically nothing, your not racing for money(even if you were who cares)

crazy teammates to make fun of.. (and that make fun of you).

also helps with calming the nerves before a race when your laughing and joking around.

A motor would be my first choice. But if you already have a motor, then get a high end charger w/ motor run feature. You can't go wrong w. the LRP Pulsar Comp.

I'm gonna have to go with a person to talk to. If you already got that then my top three most used things would be:

-tools (wrenches, pliers hammer ).
-soldering iron.
-tire sauce & an air compressor/brush.

The things most important to have, other than proper equipment and spare parts are:
  • A good attitude
Food & drink (depending on the track rules)
    Cool head
    Fun
Hand cleaner ... nothing worse than greasy hand prints on your food
