Novak Atom/Cyclone profile settings help

I have a nice lil Novak Atom in my RC12L3 for stock racing.

I am currious what should be tweaked from the stock profile (1) to give it a bit more punch. Ive heard that lowering the drive frequency add's punch but I am looking for some info from some more experienced Novak pit wizzard folks out there.

I've been using a Cyclone '99 with a Pit Wizard for over 4 years and it's awesome. Lowering the drive frequency will help somewhat, but if it's too low it will be harder on the motor's commutator. Another important thing to change is the minimum drive setting. This gives it more or less punch at the first touch of throttle. If you'd like to know my 4th profile settings for stock and modified let me know. Later!

Yeh your stock settings would rock! I am looking for a good starting point.

I am getting a pit wizzard from a friend for cheap and am all about making this atom into a more purpose setup system for my 1/12th.

Keep in mind that I use these setting for a 2wd buggy.

Deadband : 3-4% This gives the throttle a more seisitive feel.
Drive frequency : Stock - 1.96KHz or 2.93KHz
Modified - 3.90KHz or 5.86KHz - It depends on
the turns and wind, i.e. 12 double
Minimum Drive : Stock - 7-10%
Modified - 3-5%
Brake Frequency : 2.93KHz or 3.90KHz
Drag Brake : I usually don't bother with this setting.

There is also a brake adjustment pot on the ESC that allows you to dial in as much as 75% of the total available braking power. If you have any more questions let me know. Later!
