Help on Brushless Instructions

Hi Guys,
I wonder anybody can help me here.
I've bought a ModelTech Brushless motor ages ago and didn't use it for my cars because I don't like the feel of it. Now I'm trying to use it for my RC Planes. I think they've gone bust and I can't find any info on them now.
Dose any body know which mode of the ESC is the Plane mode?
I think the ESC was OEM by GM and is similar to the Speed Commander. Any of you have the earliest Speed Commander instructions which list the modes?
Thanks for any responds.

I've had one of these too. Mine didn't have a plane mode.

As long as your current mode/profile has no reverse, you can just run (or fly) it as is.

I believe the speed controls for those motors were made by Schulze and the motors were Hackers. I think the controllers were 58Ce models, but I don't know for sure. Does the speed control have a heatsink on top?

Brushes? We don't need no stinking brushes!!!
