Would any of you suggest the T3 12 as a replacement for a AE TC3?

Yes in a heartbeat. Newer car, more durable, better handling. Do it.

I did this exact move about a year ago. Much more durable and pleasing to drive. More gearing options and the motor did a better job pushing the lighter car around. It's also worth it for just the parts availability. I was having a VERY hard time finding parts for the TC3.

Try Ebay? I found parts for miles, plus a lot of the Trinity hop up stuff, ect. I got rid of my TC3 a few months back. But I didn't have a problem finding parts online.
