Talking The start of something "big"

Just saw this thread and couldn't resist....

Getting close to finishing, just moved in a couple days ago.

Features:

Spray Booth with 265cfm filtered fan, two regulated air outlets

Gen-u-wine Hobbytown USA donated pegboard (thanks Eric & Chris) free!

Drawers bought at City Union Mission Thrift Store - $10 each!

The big expense was wood, tile, sink, and air fittings!

Can't wait to work down here in the summer, never gets much over 70 degrees... yea!

If I had a home pit area like that I don't think I'll ever come out of it

Well, for what it's worth, he uses that space to paint some of the dopest R/C bodies around. So, it's not all for play.

You should see the shag carpet he's got in his pit space at the track. The dude is straight pimpin'.

my work space in the top of my dreser with a small light from ikea,a power bar, and 2 small chargers. 1 for my reciever pack and radio, and one for my roto start for my mt. my actuall race stuff doesnt leave my box until the saturday morning, when i race saturday night.

that is untill i get part of the basement gagrage made into my room. im only 17. and dont have much space. By the way, my dreser is in my closet, just took the doors off to fit it in. lol

man that full race shop is killer, wish i could get something even 1/4 that size.

I have a dirty old table in the garage where I keep the ugly stuff, like my lathe and other junk I rarely need. To work on the car, I just setup on the kitchen table the same as I setup my pits at the track, and then tear it down when I'm done. Keeps things tidy.
