guys i am juat getting into 12th and i am looking for the basic tips and tricks for these little cars. If any of you old pros could post some tips i would greatly appricated.

i bought a 12L4 and i have not got it built yet so if there are any building tips for this cars thay would be good also

That's Mike Lufaso's website, and has a ton of tricks for building and setting up a 12L4. FYI, you probably would get better results posting on the existing 12th scale thread than starting one of your own.

Also try the 1/12th scale forum. There is lots of good information there and it doesn't clog up the boards with lots of posts like this.

yea i have looked through the 12th thread but it seems to be a general 12th scale thread about all different typs of cars and i wanted to be more specific in this thread. thanks for the info for Mike i have been there befor and totaly forgot about it.

any more tips greatly appricated

Default Pinion choices

I've recently ordered a 12L4, this will be my first 1/12th, my main questions are: What pinions are you guys using in 64p? and what would be a good range to have? I plan on running a 19t chamelion with probably parma tire on asphault.

RC-Oval has a ton of great info on building pan cars. In particular, look through the back issues at the chassis building articles and at the stuff about diff building.
