Mike, any idea when we might expect the servo saver plate and the machined front damper tubes to be available?

...now I see the damper tubes for 1st week of Feb, still wondering on the plate... maybe around the same time as they're "in production"?

I'm pretty sure Mike said February 1st for the new front end parts. Might want tout go back a page or two to see if I'm right.

Not that I know of. My 'to do' list is about 3 pages long so cannot make a custom pdf doc at this time.
Are there any skilled pdf set up sheet makers our there for hire

Yes should be first week of Feb for both. Note the servo plate is for the xray servo saver only. My experience is that the Tamiya servo saver is too soft.

The Exotek adjustable arms will easily surpass any angles of the stock 104 arms if built correctly. Do you have a pic of your assembly?

Short wheel base, center shock will be 30wt I believe, 1mm pod droop, side springs associated white, thick crc lube in damper tubes, center shock location towards the rear of the chassis ( back hole )
Hi,
Too much caster will jack the car over and cause the inside wheels to lift. 5° is what I'd be at.
What front lube are you using? But make sure you have enough lube in the front damper to slow down the front suspension and try the outer hole on the front tower.
I'm not sure if you have tried it but a lot of carpet guys (Tamiya cars) are using the f103 diff thrust washer with tamiya awg grease to prevent 'diffing' on carpet.

Very positive testing with the IFS yesterday on the F1R2, really effortless to drive and less "on the edge" feel of normal F1 cars. Looking forward to the machined damper tubes so we don't have to run crazy thick lube.

That's awesome Aaron.

May be asking a lot of you but do you by chance have something similar for the exotek F1R2 rear end too?

Thanks again.

Been reading about the new front end...
i've got an F1R and getting the itch to mount the new front end in it...

wonder will it be possible to run normal 2 cell touring LiPo after the new front end?

You can but you need to purchase the side winglets to mount the ESC/RX.

thanks Aaron for these. I pushed the button on the F1R2 and IFS yesterday so all this setup information will be very handy in the coming weeks.
