Just put my F1R2 on the track (carpet) for the first time the other day and it was awesome. It was able to match the fast lap of the fastest X1 at the track. This was on it's initial run. Now just some fine tuning to get it faster.

Have some spare wings in your box, those TRG advanced wings are quite brittle

Actually I do. The TRG didn't take much abuse before it started to crack.

Other TRG wings are OK, just the advanced front and rear are single (crash) use Pitty, both look nice.

Another good looking car. I need to get my diff rebuild done so that I can snap some pics of it too.

I just noticed- are your rear plates in the short wheelbase location?

Good eye Mike. Actually, the car is built with the short wheelbase lower plate, but I accidentally put the top plate on in the wrong location. That explained why my shock was too long when using the exotek shock end. It's all fixed now.

I was reading on the Street Jam F1 page that their V2 shocks will fit on the Exotek IFS. Anyone here tried that?

Just finished putting my IFS on the streetjam, will run the kit and streetjam shocks back to back, but I don't think there will be much in it.

Thanks, Beth. The added selection of shock springs with the V2 shocks is what led to my question.

Anyone with the machined damper rods noticing inconsistencies in the quality?

One of my machined damper rods is significantly more sloppy at where it attaches to the ball end.
