Yes, I'm running 64P Kimbrough on my F1R2. I'm slowly switching my other F1 cars to Xenon spurs though.

Haven't ran F1 yet this winter but 100k in the new pom dampers feels pretty good.

If anyone is interested in a F1R2 roller I have one for sale. Perfect condition, just ran a few times on carpet. Lots of spares as well. PM me if interested

Haven't run the IFS yet, but had a good day with the F1R2 with the standard setup. Broke a servo saver, but the Exotek F104 upper arms saved the day. Dropped the rear end to about 3.5mm with the Associated black springs and the Tamiya "red" center spring. Front at about 5mm. Car was very planted. Could drive STUPID and the car wouldn't complain. Should've rebuilt the diff with antiwear grease because the diff was unloading more than I wanted in the corners. Was able to take the win. Thanks for the input, Wheelz!

Can I just clarify the Tamiya Red spring used.

Is it part number 53333 or 53163?

I just got my minty fresh SMC 7200 2s... it doesn't quite fit.

I've got some work cut out for me since the IFS totally jacked up the front end alignment! but it should be fired up and running this weekend.

AussieRevo,
I don't know. I got my center spring set from F1RClab. I think he puts the spring package together himself.

I am using the 53163 flo red spring. they are more progressive than the other shorter springs

where are the batteries not fitting into your car?

you are correct that the front needs to be readjusted... the front ball-studs needed to be moved forward to make room for the damper tubes and springs.

I dont have much experience with foam on carpet. I would definitely start with that though the foam tires should have more grip than rubber so I feel like the AW grease handling characteristics would be required to keep the car from diffing out even harder with the increased grip..

I filed down some of the carbon fiber so the battery would fit between the servo and backstop. with the IFS bulkhead, the servo cant be adjusted all the way forward to fit the 2s Lipos. not a big deal... 5 minutes with a micro file.
