F1R2 asphalt

on corner exit the rear keeps rotating if I get on the power at all. The tires are not sliding. I'm thinking I need stiffer side springs. I tried adding tension to the stock ones but it did not help

There are many things to try but can you first post an over head shot of your car and list what tires you are running?

Exotek rims pit 571/572 with the pit soft fronts inserts , but I have regular inserts fronts and 574 fronts all on the exotek rims as options

in the pic I am replacing the diff with the new exotek spur

I built everything with the stock F1R2 setup

Excellent- thanks for that.
Looks like thin wires so that is good and front angles looks good.

What I would look into;
1. Softer top spring. That is the red sedan spring you have? The red generates more on power steering. You want to go with the flourescent red (much thinner, softer) or pick up some associated b4.1 green off road springs and cut shorter. It lets the rear pod articulate and spool up for better on power rear traction.
25wt oil w/ 3 hole piston.
Check that the rear center ride height is not too low so that it doesnt bottom out though.
2. Try sliding the battery back about 8mm if you have room.
3. I don't know if the Norcal temps are too cool right now for the hard rears you are using. You may need to go to 75 rears for out door Winter.

Let me know how it goes and if you need further improvement.

My f1r2 is feeling pretty dialed right now, but the quick-adjust shock end keeps backing out and coming completely undone. Do I have to thread lock it or is there another less invasive solution I am missing?

What's the difference in the f1r2, and the f1r2 pro conversion?

Changed to a cut b4.1 green spring and did everything else you listed except tires, track temp is 80+ and WOW,WOW that gave me alot of entry and mid steering but with the rear still planted, thanks!
But I am still having the issue where on corner exit if the front wheels aren't totally straight and I get on power at all the car wants to rotate, but it's not losing rear traction/grip, the rear tires are not sliding at all.
I am guessing I need stiffer side springs or to put more tension on them. ??

A bit of sticky anti wear grease or just a 'smidge' of blue thread lock should take care of that.

Are you sure the axle hubs aren't moving or spinning on the rear axle? Using the correct sized diff balls with the spur? Matching ride height rear axle spacers? Matching front droop and springs? Free moving front and rear suspension? You can try back to back runs with different side springs but sounds like a little tweak somewhere...

Ok, I guess just looked a bit different on the site. Thought it might have included the adjustable front arms or something
