The car looses all power in the turns and just coasts out of the turn before any power can be put down. And idea how I can fix this?
Are you racing on grey carpet ?

Thanks Mike, not really looking into dumping ~ $100 on the diff and bearing adapter to run the gear diff. Ill try and rebuild the diff and change out the springs and grease.

Providing the grip is high enough you could run a sold axle. Replace your diff balls with the same size spool pins and call it good.

If the grip level does support a solid rear you could reduce your ball diff action by going to a 16ball spur lubbed with a super thick grease such as tamiya AW or losi brown. The thick ball diff isnt as good as a gear diff but it will get the power down better than a light ball diff.

Default Suspension setup

Has anyone got any tips on getting the caster angle spot on or finding out what is it as my setup gauge is not doing what I would like it to do.

No not really, the Super F1 front end from HPI was pretty pricey itself back in the day.

Great Price, and ordered one up!

Hey MikeR - will you be re-releasing the F1R3 conversion kit? Would really like to try get an F1R3 going with IFS and the steering bellcranks.

Hi, No plans for more F1R3's sorry. The TRF103 pretty much has all the same features now that the F1R3 had years ago.

Default F1R3

Mike,
I hear what you're saying about the TRF103 features vs F1R3 fearures, but your car is 1/2 the price (or less) of the TRF103!
Thanks for making great cars and products, Mike. I have been and will remain a faithful buyer.

Scott
