Or just replace the upper case on your servo.

F1R2 w/ IFS.

Big thanks to Aaron Lane for the setup help!

Exotek F1R2(soon to be R3) with IFS front end won 1st and a F1R3 with Tamiya style front end won 2nd at this 1st race in the Texas EOS series. The 2nd place car could have easily won 1st even with the original style Tamiya front end, the new F1R3 chassis is that good.
The race was on the new crc carpet
Great product

With the IFS front end on the high grip new crc carpet, do I want more or less front end droop to help avoiding traction rolling?
Thanks for any info

typically a little more droop can help because it will allow the car to roll more and not snap over on the front tires.

I usually don't change the front droop too much. instead I change the rear pod droop or the front spindle height. I run 35mm of droop measuring the top of the axle and the car on 10mm blocks.

leveling out the rear pod on my car can make the steering feel a little lazy on entry but tends to reduce traction roll for my car.

front spindle height is one of the biggest things you could probably change. moving the spindle up (moving shims to the bottom of the spindle) will greatly increase the steering response and likelihood that it can traction roll. when moving the spindle down (moving shims to the top of the axle) will numb the car out and make the car less twitchy or aggressive. Once you find the sweet spot of the axle height, a 0.5-1.0mm change will be pretty noticeable.

you will have to reset your droop and ride height after changing axle height as well.

Yes! Exotek F1 chassis where dominate at the Texas EOS 2016 opener. Racers from San Antonio, Houston and Dallas came out for some excellent racing on the new CRC black ozite. I set TQ in round one with the F1R3 but F1 qualifiers are heads up with reverse order to make the racing more interesting. Round 2 I re-set TQ from the back of the grid. Round 3 Doug and I battled nose to tail the entire qualifier but I could not make a clean pass so I settled for 2nd on the grid in the main. We where both on new TQ pace.

The main was a repeat of the last qualifier with me chasing Doug start to finish. Every lap we where no more that 0.3 second apart! I tried to find a way around but just couldn't make it happen cleanly. This is the kind of racing that keeps me coming back! Doug's F1R2 takes the win and my F1R3 cruised to a comfortable 2nd place. The rest of the field was filled by a couple of X-rays, a Kyosho and a Tamiya F104 pro v2.

I may not have won but I did set the fastest F1 lap by 3 tenths of a second and could turn those fast laps with ease in clean air.

If you can't find/wait for the black ones, you can dye the white ones with RIT dye. The wheels on the photos of my car a few pages back were dyed, and they came out awesome. The black color was actually a touch darker than the actual Exotek black wheels (if that makes any sense).
