Default Tire Size and Truing for 1/12 Pan Car

I have a few questions re. tires and I was wondering if someone could help out. I am VERY new to 1/12th carpet racing and I was wondering what size am I looking for in fronts and backs after a tire is properly trued and race-ready? I have a new CRC Carpet Knife and a friend of mine trued the tires down but they are still MUCH larger than the other tires I saw at the track yesterday. Also, can you buy tires that are already trued or do I have to purchase a tire truer which I really don't want to do.
Thanks for any help it is appreciated.
Matt

You may want to post this over in the 1.12th forum

I found out what was wrong with my car yesterday, my T-Plate lost one of its screws. I drove the whole main with only 1 screw holding the rear pod to the T-Plate I won the B-Main, but what a crazy car to drive.... and then drive 5 minutes of sedan right afterwards. (Dont bother asking about sedan, it didn't go well).

I've been told 1.8" (45.72mm) front and 1.9" (48.26mm) rear. Sorry about the precision, that is the direct conversion.

Hey Matt,
I was going to post it in the 1/12th forum but I wasn't sure it would be seen. I ordered titanium axles from Lunsford. Hopefully that will stop the "breakage" problem. Congrats on the B main win. How many laps? After winning the qualifier with the TC, I thought you had a good chance during the main.
Thanks,
Matt

I got 39 laps in 1/12th and 23 in Stock sedan. Jeff won sedan with 24 laps.

I hope the titanium helps your problem... that was weird seeing that happen twice!! Once you get the 1/12ths running, they are a blast.
