A quick question about the Quantum comp 2....

I see on the Tower Hobbies site (and others) information saying the QC2 comes with a standard Tamiya battery and motor bullet connections (which would imply a 3 wire y harness already installed).

But then it goes on to say that a harness needs to be added to the red wire.

So does it come pre wired with plugs or doesn't it?

thanks in advance.

Default Programming a QC2

Any suggestions on programming a QC2 for TC and 1/12th scale racing with stock motors.

I am currently using the following settings on all my cars:
Punch control = 5 (mega punch)
Initial brake = 0 (linear)
Automatic brake = 0 (off)

Map 5 - LRP team "Stock Racing" program

Any ideas?

Depends on personal taste and traction available. Personally, I run Punch Control on 5 all the time unless I run modified or there is low traction...even then the lowest I usually go is 4.

I don't use brakes much if at all but I leave it on 5 just in case i need them.

Automatic Break are really the only breaks I use (slowes the car down in neutral). If I run stock, I usually set it on 3 or 4. For mod I run 5.
