which motor did you use?

how about the lap times?

I was running 17.5t plutonium edition motor. Attached is the official A-Final sheet

Team-Powers XPS V1.1 New Speedos-results.jpg

the really low lap times it shows were computer glitches, the track was 140x60 and a fairly flowing layout but with a 180 at the end of the straight with a chicane on the front under the driver stand.

I was running in the 17.5 non-ramping class so i didnt play with any of the boost settings at all. However, i did mess with other setting in the ESC and they are very noticable, but its a good feel. Once i found the settings i personally liked, i left them alone. When i soon run modified then I will play with boost settings, but right now the biggest, most competetitive class is the 17.5 NR class.

yes its a little big but usually i use the ratio between 7.5 ~ 8.4 with 10.5T

after the test share your opinion

another thing that i think that will help is a fan directly on esc, i think!

Try these settings for a 13.5 Plutonium motor on a low grip track.

1 FWD / BRAKE
2 LIPO CUT AT 6.0V
3 DEAD BANK AT 6% (DEPENDING ON YOUR RADIO)
4 HEAT PROTECTION ON
5 REV FORCE AT 0%
6 BRAKE LEVEL AT 2
7 BRAKE FORCE AT 75%
8 DRAG BRAKE AT 0%
9 FWD LEVEL AT 2
10 PUNCH AT 60%
11 POWER BAND AT 100%
12 START RPM AT 4000
13 TIMING BURST AT 65%
14 TIMING BOOST AT 50%
15 TURBO DELAY AT 0.3 SEC
16 TURBO BOOST AT 35%

FDR ON CAR WAS 7.32 FOR A SERPENT S411.

Temps for motor stayed at 60 to 68 Degree Celcius all week end.

Super smooth and plenty of go. Straight speed was equal if not a little better than others.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

Ren

Two new settings for two different tracks.

This on is for a big flowing track ::

1 FWD / BRAKE
2 LIPO CUT AT 6.0V
3 DEAD BANK AT 8% (DEPENDING ON YOUR RADIO)
4 HEAT PROTECTION ON
5 REV FORCE AT 0%
6 BRAKE LEVEL AT 2
7 BRAKE FORCE AT 80%
8 DRAG BRAKE AT 0%
9 FWD LEVEL AT 2
10 PUNCH AT 0%
11 POWER BAND AT 100%
12 START RPM AT 3000
13 TIMING BURST AT 60%
14 TIMING BOOST AT 50%
15 TURBO DELAY AT 0.2 SEC
16 TURBO BOOST AT 50%

Very fast, equal or better in speed to the three front runners. Only let down was incorrect settings on car for rotation into corners. To much push!

This one tested on a very tight technical track with short straights and multiple hairpins ::

1 FWD / BRAKE
2 LIPO CUT AT 6.0V
3 DEAD BANK AT 6% (DEPENDING ON YOUR RADIO)
4 HEAT PROTECTION ON
5 REV FORCE AT 0%
6 BRAKE LEVEL AT 1
7 BRAKE FORCE AT 90%
8 DRAG BRAKE AT 0%
9 FWD LEVEL AT 1
10 PUNCH AT 0%
11 POWER BAND AT 100%
12 START RPM AT 3000
13 TIMING BURST AT 70%
14 TIMING BOOST AT 55%
15 TURBO DELAY AT 0SEC
16 TURBO BOOST AT 0%

Turbo not used as track was very tight and cold but still very fast and punchy out of corners.

Above is a sample photo of the Mornington track.

Car was S411 and FDR was 7.32 with Plutonium 13.5 and 6800 70C batteries.

Cheers Ren
