What is the ETA for classes?...Need to understand the classes offered before booking any travel or hotels. Also was wondering when the schedule will be posted to know what days to fly in.

Thanks...

I am waiting to hear back from ROAR on classes. I'm as anxious as anyone. ROAR's RMT will begin practice Thursday March 15th. We (the track owner, employees, and local racers) will be running organized practice Wednesday March 14th for anyone who needs the extra track time.

I gotta stick my foot in my mouth here. I based my answer on the dates we were given and previous years, but after a conversation I had today I need to change my answer. My sincerest apologies for any confusion.

The first day of practice will be Friday March 16th.
Qualifiers will be held Saturday March 17th.
Mains will be held Sunday March 18th.

I am really hoping I will be able to post classes in the next 10 days.

Initially I had a knee jerk reaction to this schedule but after thinking about it I like this format. It's more accommodating to those who have to keep office hours. It's far easier to take time off for friday than to take off wednesday, thursday and friday. Plus it's such a waste of time to only run 2 quals each day so running them all on sat and mains sun is much more efficient. I might be able to sneak away for this one. Hopefully the asphalt nats follow the same schedule. Good job guys!

I agree, a big part of the appeal of this race over others is that it's a short trip, and there's triple A's. Hopefully the classes are right. Any idea what the spec tire will be?
