Questions?? Differential Question

Forgive me if this is the wrong place to ask but...

Would it be advantageous to have a differential where the slip could be adjusted by axial individually?

By that I mean that a four wheel drive vehicle could have the front & rear drive axial slip at different rates & the right / left axial of the output differential could also be adjusted individually for slip.

Thoughts, feedback?

Yes and no. Why do you think 1/8 buggies have a front, center, and rear diffs? To adjust power delivery in more than one way.

That's a ball diff is it not? Try machining slots into the thrust plate to correspond with the ball position that will help lock it up better.
