Sparky.Due to the holidays try posting in the Forum Area instead of emails.
The NEW owners of Tekin are Not selling or repairing the Dyno that I know of.
I would post on their site and one of the older techs may be able to help out.
Im not saying it's a lost cause but it will be hard to find someone with repairs on the Tekin Dyno 900.
The NEW tekin I dont think even has the layout of the dyno so they wouldnt know where to start on repairs.
I would check to make sure though.
Goodluck and Happy Holidays.
Les

Much appreciate your info Les, that's useful. I hope I find the word out there. It sucks buying a pup !! Though it will still drive break in and a lathe.

Thank you.

Jacko, you animal! Gus says hello. Going to miss you at Richland. Doesn't look like we'll make it. How's that CRC car?

Definitely call Tekin on the phone. They are right here in McCall. Tell them what you have. I still use my Tekin dyno all the time. They are awesome. You need the excel program to make easier use of the numbers. If you don't have it, email when you get it fixed and I'll send it to you.

take care
john

Blimee Guv,

what a suprise !! and how pleasant. Very much enjoyed the bash at Spokane and meeting you and Gus and all those other wonderful racers. The 12th is binging like a goodun when I can hang on to it, just getting it to a level of stability whereby I can slam the trigger at the start; always an interesting time for me.

And yourselves: hit any good peaks recently ??

So where is that Tekin man, you lead me to believe they are just around the corner from you, but they appear to be in Indiana or something like that

Jacko

LOL, maybe your mashing the trigger to much!!! Put a 9 turn in that chariot and run a couple club races, then you will be smooth as silk when you race stock and the big races.

I would not lead you astray:

All is lost. Not even Tekins repair these dynos. So buyer beware, no repairs possible.

Thanks for the numbers John, maybe you chaps will be there at Richland this w/end !!

Good luck and HAVE FUN!!!
