Default HK Racing

I recently got lessons on how to tune stock motors. I also now going to start hand tuning motors for racers under the company name HK racing (if there r any copyright problems tell me, HK stands for Hard Knocks) I was wonder where can I buy Epic binary and Trinity Monster motors in bulk, I was also wondering where I could buy unwound armatures and the wire to wind those armatures. Also any tips on how to run/have a company and how to sponser drivers

Trinity sells motors you are looking for (can armature endbell) they sell them by the hundred though. You would have to be sure you are doing this before you spend the money on that. I hope you got some good lesosns, becuase there are alot of good motors out there, with alot of different good tuners stickers on them.

Hi HK, Contact Brandon from Paradigm, he can hook you up with OEM motors, and is a hell of a nice guy too

As far as I know, his min order is 10 teardowns and they also do all the other parts needed for building motors in bulk too like shims, brushes etc.

Contact Brandon for pricing though

There is websites that you can use to check for trademarks on a name.

As far as running a company, lots of common sense and hard work to get it all happening. Perhaps even take a course on business management as it will give you a good overall guide on how to do things..

How to sponsor drivers is really up to you I guess, many companies give discounts to fast or promising racers in return for making thier product look good.

Something along the lines of giving equipment to racers at like 10% or 20% or even up to 30% off thier equipment. If you're feeling particularly well-off you could give 100% sponsorships to some drivers if you feel they will make your product look REALLY good

HK, IMHO, stick to Stocks...

Also : Read THIS religously.

If there is anything worth knowing about RC car motors and motor building, its already been discussed 30 times there Not to mention Big Jim - RC Motor GURU - is a regular there (its his forum) and is more than happy to help people who do their research

But to answer your question on the Winding of Mod Motors, Paradigm sell OEM's with unwound arms or for an extra fee the arms professionally wound.

Contact Brandon from Paradigm, again.

Err.

If you need us to explain how you come up with a retail price, then you shouldn't be running a business unfortunanly.

And yes, all Stocks are machine wound and have to be wound a certain way to be roar/ifmar/norrca/whoever legal.

Sure your stocks would be fast, pity they wont be legal..

This sounds like a pretty misguided thread. And technically, if it is a company you're advertising, you need to be an advertiser.
