Ha Ha good old DC Ultra ! I'll try to talk to Cuffs sometime tonight and get a baseline gearing point. I'll also talk to Dennis or Screff to see what setup they ran at the ORL2 race this past weekend.

Oh yea rollout...... what's that? It's all overrated

What motor are you going to be running? 19 turn Chameleon or Reedy Quad Magnet?

FriedDiff 11-25-2004 07:45 AM

19T Sureshot Arcor (Team Motor)

It is not a Quad...

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Try the rear CRC track magnets that came with the car, if the rear end slides out, try the TRC grays. I've been using Zip Free traction compound, full rear, inside 1/2 on front.

Thanks for all the help guys! I hope to have the car by next wensday when I get to the track, and hopefully be done building it by the time I leave the track! :p

I'm not quite positive with the gearing of the Arcor motor, but some of the guys running 19turn are using pink rears to help get out of the corners and double pink fronts or purple fronts, which all depends on car setup. When I ran a 19 turn Quad Mag, I geared up about 4 to 5 teeth higher than a stcok motor. Hope this helps!
