Default HPI Pro 4 parts support

I've been looking to bring my old pro 4 back to life. I've found some parts but not all. I have a complete and functional car, but I'd hate to break it and wind up with a broken and unsupported car.

Is there somewhere online where I can find all the parts? I can find some stuff, like arms and such. Is there a place that caters to this old car and similar stuff?

This is what I'm looking for. Everywhere I look it is either out of stock or discontinued. Part # 73511; That diamond shaped mount that wraps around the front and rear diff housing. It's what the upper suspension attaches to. If broken, the car is done, unless I can find another. Any suggestions?

I've actually had the car since 2003. If I remember correctly, some of the parts are interchangeable with a TC3. I looked and it appears the TC4 caster blocks and steering knuckles would work. I still have some spares for those, but I can't find the front bulkhead parts. That's what concerns me. I'd like to race the car again, it drives very well. I like it better than my newer Xray.

Pro4 is my 'new' daily ride for 17.5 blinky class

Stormer has the carbon version of the part you asked about and many other parts;

And of course there is this

A picture with your post, when trouble shooting, will probably get more rctech help than without...

There was a Pro4 running USGT at the Southern VTA Nats in Nashville a couple of weeks ago. It ran very well and the owner felt the same way about the car.

That's AWESOME! Thank you gentlemen! Now I have to decide if I want to run the Xray in VTA and the Pro 4 in touring, or vice versa. Its 17.5 boosted, or 13.5 non boosted, so the shaft shouldn't be an issue. Many moons ago, I got a 5.5 for the Pro 4. At full throttle, the shaft would vibrate and hit the Nimh pack, slinging sparks! I think with the lower RPMs of stock class and a lipo, that shouldn't be an issue.

Thanks again guys, I can now race my trusty old Pro 4. In fact, that's the car in my avatar, sneaking by the "Bad Ass" from that old track. We recently started on road again, just parking lot racing for now, but we gotta start somewhere. The owner of the LHS speaks of an indoor carpet track... For now, we'll play in the parking lot with a temporary track to be setup and torn down each race day. I'm driving the Blue Touring car(Xray T2), and using the hat cam.

Speaking of an RS4, I broke out the Pro2 and rebuilt it this week for VTA. Took the pictures before the body gets tagged

R40victim, I don't know if you are familiar with the new Awesomatix shaft car, but it comes with a two bearing roller apparatus that reinforces the center of the driveshaft, making it possible to run low turn mod motors with ease . Maybe you can retrofit that piece to your pro4 ....

Back in the day I searched for a solution like that. If I wound up running the car in a mod class, I'd look into that. For now it looks like either stock or VTA.

Very cool on the Pro 2! Glad to see a classic HPI brought back to the track.

Tire sauce in VTA is track dependant. So yes it is allowed.... if your track allows is
