Actually Nash, that is not true. Andy ran the Gen XI the whole time. By the time we got up to speed, he had already had his chassis marked and therefore had to stay with that car for rest of the race. We had Elliott and Marc on A main pace by Practice 5, but you had to have the chassis checked in before that. We built Andy a "prototype" car and wired it all up, but it was not used.

Default What servo?

Can some one tell me please what the steering servo was in the new narrow version cars as used by Marc and Elliott. Also I was wondering what the wheelbase was. Looks like a longer car going by the pictures around.

Sanwa SRG-HR

Jr 3650 and Spektrum servos will fit too.

Wheelbase is the same as the XI

Looking to step back into some 1/12 carpet this Fall / Winter and have decided to go with the CRC Xi. Look forward to returning to my carpet roots after running off road only for the past 15 years

Anything I should specifically know while I read through all these posts

Grey-low is the new DD. Unlike SC, we DON'T like to touch in the corners. Being .3 seconds off pace puts you in another Main - not another lap. Peck's roll-outs ONLY work for Peck.
Just kidding.

I don't like SC anymore than you then, but I run it anyway right?

LOL Great

I don't mind SC at all when I am TQ. I'm just not usually TQ when you come around.

Default Woohoo!

I've had my Xi a couple of months now and have gotten in about 5 or 6 race days. Finally got it working really good last Saturday. What a pleasure to drive a car like that! Lots of fun and plenty fast with my Revtech 17.5 motor.

Still have more to tweak, and need to improve my driving skills (duh), but I'm a happy camper overall.

Thanks to CRC, the local racers who help me out, my local track (Cline Hobbies) and my buddy Wayne for all the help!

Contact Dumper (Brian Wynn) at CRC when you need configuration/setup suggestions. Most helpful with ideas for different circumstances...on carpet.
