Bert,

Pedro previously posted that it is a "sanwa/airtronics srg-hr servo".

Specifications
Weight: 22g
Ball bearing: Yes
Dimension: 27×12.1×30.5mm
Speed 6.0V: 0.07sec/40°
Torque 6.0V: 3.8kg/cm
Speed 7.4V: 0.05sec/40°
Torque 7.4V: 4.6kg/cm
Metal gears: Yes

Picture shows extra tabs on the SRG-HR's main case. He probably needs to dremel off those extra tabs to make it fit properly. Don't know the Sanwa products myself because Frank C recommends the JR3650 for CRC cars...so, that is what I have on all of my CRC pan cars.

Aloha!

Bill

Local carpet track was converted to dirt...No action here. And it's 400 miles to closest carpet racing in SoCal. Might as well live in Hawaii...LOL

Yeah I wasn't going to assume which one without the model number...but your probably right...the extra tabs probably need to be cut off so that the servo mounts will work.

I have a major office remodeling project starting in August that is scheduled to go until early November. Involves working most weekends too; so, I'm waiting until the last minute to make a decision about going. Could finally miss an IIC...But, I'd probably be fighting to stay out of last place in WGT anyway.

Maybe Mike King can replace me...LOL

Did buy my first two helicopters. Learning that very carefully. Nose out...nose in...crash...fix if necessary...begin again...more LOL

I personally like the Futaba 9602 Servo. Which also has those side mounting tabs which just need to be cut off

Is this something we'll see released at Vegas? Nice adjustable rear pod.

I wonder how drastically having the servo in front will change the steering. CRC's always had 1/12th dialed so I can't wait to see this car.

A few people were running the servo that way at last year's IIC on the current chassis...seemed to work fine then. The servo used is much smaller and lighter than what most people currently use in 1/12th.
