Team CRC Pan Car Machined Delrin Upper A Arm's 4275
Tom,
Will the "long" machined upper a-arms work for you?
I think they can be run in the "standard" length as well as "long".
If so, I have those at the shop If they'll work I can toss a pair in the box your motor will be in

I have a bag of the "older" diff ball, which are the spurs that match up with those diff balls.

Unfortunately not, I'm up in Phoenix helping a friend man his vendors tent at the Arizona Electric Festival (RC air show). Unfortunately number two, I work Sundays so Fridays are it for me. Maybe next week...

Sorry if this is too much of a newbie question, but I am very interested in this car.

Quick background -- I used to run 1/8 gas and 1/12 back in the mid 80's. Now interested in getting back in with 1/12.

Looking at the Xi and the Associated car. My question is about chassis set up -- in general, does everything that comes with the kit give you an "optimal" set up, or will I need to invest in a handful of springs, different bearings, different shock, etc. etc. [Note -- I'm not asking about tires, esc, motor -- just the chassis itself.] If so, can someone give me an idea of what items would be good to have as a starting point?

I plan to run 13.5 boosted on an asphalt track, and 17.5 blinky on a smaller carpet track. (Well, at least I think that's what I'll run...)

Thanks in advance for any help/advice!

My Xi is as it came out of the box including all standard springs, shock oil and even damper lube. Put the right tires on the car and you will be very happy.

Is anyone breaking the New front plastic hub?

I had a bad crash that was head on (not on a wheel) fixed the car and went to run and touched a board and the hub where the tierod attaches broke

Wow!! My guess is it may have had an air bubble when it was molded, that may have created a weak spot.

We ran 10.5 on our 63'x33' track last Saturday, and believe me, I tested the durability of the steering knuckles. You shouldn't have any issues with your next set.
