Best bet is to either have your lhs order it thru horizon saying shipping the 25th or straight thru CRC

Any comments from CRC as to the direction this thread is going in response to ROAR Rule 8.2.3?

Roar Rule 8.2.3 thread

Has ROAR had any dialog with you at all?

"Team CRC" and several of the team drivers posted in there.

Since the Xi can accept both shorty and standard packs without chassis mods, the car would be legal.

And besides that ROAR is 2 races a year and are the lowest attended events of the year on top of that. I say Frank (along with everyone else) keep designing new stuff and worry about the races that count and let ROAR continue to die a slow death. There will be something else come along after they die...And it cant be any worse!

Agreed....on all points. Just hoping that innovation like this new car keeps pushing the envelope of what's possible!

Bought and put together the Xi kit Fri 11/11 at the timezone grandprix, set car up as per kit instructions, except added the long arm option, ran battery in normal configuration as shorty's not avail yet, Frank was on hand and he checked my set-up out and did some tweaks for me, put the car on the track, WOW this is an amazing handling car stuck like glue, has mass amounts of corner speed all I can say is if your not running this car you need to get 1 it's a game changer.
Once again thank you Frank for all your Help.

Have fun buying a different car every other month if there is no control.

No one is forced to buy a new car. Shorty packs aren't going to lead to us running 13th scale cars. The shorty pack could easily be installed in current chassis with a little creativity.

NICE!! Can't wait to get my upgrade parts, they should arrive tomorrow!

P.S. want to keep this thread on topic, don't want to hijack this thread. I think EA was just tossing this support where he knew Frank would hear it.

Didn't imply shorty pack would lead to bad things. Just the fact that people dont want any control of the sport. I like the idea of the batteries going down the center like the new XI is. The design is long awaited. Could have been done a long time ago. Great designers will always push the envelope like CRC has. Wished my home track raced on a different day as our offraod, because I would be all over this awesome car.
