Default Fans

Hi Andy,

The fans that come with Cell Master are specially designed only for the charger and operate at 12,000rpm at 12V!

The noise is normal but the high power fans keep the unit cool and enabled it to be a relatively small charger.

Thanks,

Keith.

You are using way low delta peak settings for this charger You should use something at the 20-30 range depending on the batteries and ambient temperature.

Any ideas ?? As i'm now getting to the stage that i'm gonna have to get rid of it as I can't trust that i'll put the cells on charge before a race and they won't false peak.

Never had this problem with a charger before ??

Many thanks

How do I set the Cellmaster on charging GP2600 AA batts for my transmitter? What settings should I make? Can I also charge all 8 AA cells at the same time?

Hey

Sorry i completely forgot to list them!

IB3800's mainly and the occasional GP3700 AA's are GP aswell

I tried a setting of 3 last night but the cells peaked very cool, just wondering should i up it a bit?

The aa setup would be great, cos i got flat transmitter batteries!

Hope that helps

Glenn

step charging recommended settings always use a very high Amp (7A) for charging. but since that we know that higher Amp reduces the battery life, how come all are still using this profile?

Guys, so basically which do u choose to charge ur battery? Peak or step charge? coz everytime when i use peak charge for my 3600 or 3800 pack, it will always end with peak cut at around 3100, does this mean that the pack is not fully charged? also as from the nexus racing profile, i noticed that the MAH setting for step charge is way more than 10% of the battery capacity, so is it good? as for step charge, i have lowered from 6A to 3A (1/3), is this ok?

i know MMCM is a great charger, but its just that i think its too complicated to use, esp for a newbie like me. can someone help me out on charging profile for my battery BOTH ON peak & step charge?

after reading the nexus site, only then i realise the thermometer probe is to be placed at the cooling fan stand, and not to the battery directly.
