If you step charge, do you have to discharge your pack to o.o volts or can you take them down to 5.4 (6 cells using the charger) before you step charge?

Default Fan control after charge

Or am I missing a setting?
Hi, you are missing some important setup.
Maybe CM's algorithm is too hard for everyone?

Push < button and hold for 3seconds on main menu.

-User setup mode

-Output Control Pins

-You can choose Fan or Warmer

-choose "Fan"

-"On" in rest

-Set target temperature

Your fan will blow when it gets to target temperature after(or before) charging.

Default Li-Po charge

I have not used my Cell Master to charge any LiPo cells yet. I will try and let you know later.
For charging Li-po or Li-Ion,
Li-po or Ion should be charged in different way for safety.

When the voltage reaches to certain point(it depends on cell no.), charging way chages from linear current to linear voltage. That's why charging cuurrent goes down.
When the charging current goes down to 0.1A, charge terminated.

Thanks,
Ryan

I just picked up a Cell Master from Rain City Raceway, and I must say I'm extremely impressd with the quality and performance of this little charger. It's awesome!!!! The step charging feature is super cool. My batteries are already starting to come alive compared to my other charger.

It looks like a high number per pack but you will not get overcharged 'coz the peak cuts at 48 degree C (118 Fahrenheit).
Last clarification. If someone is charging on a GFX @ 6amp with a .03 cut off; What is the same setting on a Much More Cell Master? 6amps with a ???

Thanks Kumpol......

Default Delta peak CM VS Turbo

Thanks Kumpol......
I remember Turbo's delta peak like this,

Turbo's .01 is 10mV = CM's 10mV
Turbo's .02 is 20mV = CM's 20mV
Turbo's .03 is 30mV = CM's 30mV

If voltage is less than 2V(1cell), Turbo will cut off charging by 2mV.
Turbo is very accurate charger for 1cell.

I thought you weren't meant to zero rack ib3600's? I am sooooo confused.

Also, with step charging these cells(ib3600), do you have to take them down to o.o volts first or can you start charging them from 5.4 volts? Please help??? anyone???

Default Fan Plug & Fan max. Output

Got 2 questions:

1) Where can I get the type of plug used for the fan?
2) How many Amps can the fan-output deliver?

Thanks in advance.

If that is the case why are all of the charging methods on the CM using a 3 to 6 delta v? Seems extremely low... I guess I will try 6 amps with 30mv on my CM's and see what I get??????

Believe it or not, I spent 1 full week going to different shops looking for the fan/warming tray plug, couldn't find anything at electronics, computer type store. And more unbelievable is one day I stumbled across a surplus electronic type place, they guy pulled a battery out of an old old cordless phone and the plug seems similar, I had to maybe do a mod to make it fit. Then I went home, thinking I too have a cordless phone I don't use, I open the battery door, pull the plug and I can't believe what I was seeing....it's the IDENTICAL plug on the MR CM!!! I even unsoldered the male plug from the phone's circuit board.

So check your cordless phone!

I too didn't understand if the mV is for per pack, why are guys putting out their setup talking about each cell???
