No, and that's the point. How many large VTA races have run 21.5 in the past year? None.
ROAR asphalt NATS ran 21.5 didn't they? The Ohio State Champs race was also 21.5.

Were the VTA and Southern VTA nats USVTA rules or the "modified for this event rules" format?

As I said, next year we'll probably go with a MWGS style format, but this year it's 21.5. Hopefully the rules won't have changed AGAIN, by that time.......

Yeah, right. I'll move the VTA discussion to the Indoor Champs thread.

USVTA Nats and the Southern nats were the correct rules 25.5.

The ROAR nats were 21.5 because:
A- Roar did not have updated rules
B- "Everybody" in the area was still running 21.5, and 25.5 would have hurt the turnout by their estimation.

The ROAR rules should be changing to be as in sync with USVTA as they can be.

The Gate ran 25.5 a couple weeks ago at the Vegas warm up, the Hurricane races run the correct motor.

The 25.5 is here to stay. If you like you can place all the blame for rules changes on the fact that rc made a huge change in motor battery and speed controls in the last 3 or 4 years. Everything that has come before has been a crutch to try to make it through this period. The last year has proven the rules work, and nothing is going to change going forward.

Remember to put your driver heads in the cars!!!

By "Big Boy Pants" he really meant Cruisers.

Oh, and after having 3 kids, don't believe the packaging. When they state 16-28 lbs., they don't hold anywhere near that much.

Roar would not be able to do single brand, so most likely yes

The VTA rules for the Halloween Classic are not in question. If anyone wants to debate what is going on with VTA on a national level please take it to another thread.

Much agreed, When the complainers work all year for a few days of racing pleasure for the masses then they can tweak whatever rules they want. Or the promoters can just quit offering such controversial classes.

That's why you do it the way Miller does - buy the re-washable ones. He NEVER races without a fresh pair on.
