yep, yep. get 'em in guys. as i read it, we can only fit 80 bodies in our place, so if you're on the outs, there's not much that can be done.

The Fist is heading out to msi this weekend for a nice little warmup ... anyone care to join us?

that's why I don't run vta at the club level. Its like putting a Ferrari enzo in a dirt oval race. You'll win but all the other cars will have alot of red paint on their fenders.

Hope to see a lot of you guys at MSI this weekend. A great warm up for the Classic with some pretty good talent. Will be trophies given out and some good food(free). Lol. Hope you guys can make it out. It's only a one day race by the way with practice on Friday.

25.5 VTA....Is what I thought the class was set up to be.If youneed to run 21.5 why not run USGT? And if you want more speed why not 17.5 TC? Why do we always feel the need to reinvent the wheel?

VTA is a TC class so I don't run it. I'm one of those pancar snobs. I was just teasing you guys. VTA , in it's original 27t brushed/17.5, then 21.5, and now 25.5 format, has consistently been the epitome of reinvention of the aforementioned wheel. I'm just sayin'.............

VTA is 25.5 and blinky mode ESCs at the Midwest Grand Slam events, like the Halloween Classic. Not sure why Ian insists on running VTA as 21.5 at the Indoor Champs? VTA has been 25.5 for more than a year now...

I personally don't like the equipment restrictions (i.e. branding) of the USVTA rules, especially since I've watched one person go through TWO brand new Ballistic 25.5's in the last two weeks, through no fault of his own.

I also don't care for each race having it's own set of "event specific" rules, so I went with what I thought was an existing, coherent package.

I mean the only real difference between the MWS and the Champs is the motor wind. Still gotta use a blinky ROAR approved speedo, and don't all you VTA guys have 21.5's laying around that you can't even use in the class anymore?

Next year we may go 25.5, but it would be open to ANY ROAR approved 25.5 or we might possibly do a handout motor if certain factors came into play.

VTA Nationals and VTA Southern Nationals, 25.5. MWGS last year and this year, 25.5. Sorry, but pot, meet kettle.

No, and that's the point. How many large VTA races have run 21.5 in the past year? None.
